I was so excited to find these sweet window cards that I had to write a short post about them. What I like about them is that they are small, square, and are perfect to fit in 5 x 5 picture frames.
They work great for little quilt blocks, but for me I used them for scraps I’ve had left over from other projects.
You add your little piece of fabric, and it turns into a matted work of art. Woohoo!!
The paper is a beautiful texture, and real substantial. You just open up the card, glue the fabric piece to the back, glue down the window part, and you have a beautiful matted work of art ready to be framed. There are also rectangle window cards, but I found these much more interesting. Here is the Amazon link to these cards. These would be fast and easy for Christmas cards, or really any holiday cards.
I’ve done a bit of sewing that I’ll be sharing soon. Until then I hope you all are keeping cool.

I love these and thiink I will order them. Just yesterday I came across some samples of tiny free motion quilting and thought I could use therm in some way with my cards. I make a LOT of cards,(stamping, watercolor, etc.) these little card frames will be perfect. Thanks for sharing.
I love these! And your little art pieces are so pretty. I think Iโll order some.
Could I also do a photograph?
Jacquie, Sure!
Norma, They will work great! I have a couple big pieces where I practiced free motion, and they can easily be cut up and used. Glad you liked the suggestion.
Sherrie, Thanks. They are so neat and quick and easy.
Lynda. I did a blog post about the cards that I made after your inspiration. I did give you credit. I sent an email . but then realized that it went to a “do not reply” and you probably never saw it. Anyway, please go to my blog, http://notesfromnorma.blogspot.com/2024/07/fun-new-project.html and see what I did.
Thanks, Norma
Norma, I loved your little cards!! Can’t wait to see your next ones!
